FAQs

What is the Community Transport Scheme?

We are similar to a minibus hire company, with the main difference being that we are a membership scheme. Once you become a member (£10 for life) your group you can use our services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What sort of vehicles do Roundabout operate?

Our buses can carry up to 16 passengers, plus a driver. They are fitted with seat belts complying with current legislation, & are fully disabled accessible with passenger lifts, steps and rails (if required).

Who can  drive your minibuses?

If you hold a UK license, are over 25 and under 70 years of age, you may drive one of our minibuses.

How difficult is minibus driving?

Driving a minibus feels like driving a modern car. New drivers will have a brief familiarisation session before taking a minibus out.

Are insurance and fuel extra?

No. Both are included in the price.

Can the vehicles take disabled people?

Many of our  vehicles are fully wheelchair accessible and  hold Blue Badges which give additional parking facilities for people with impaired mobility.

Am I restricted on where I can take a bus?

You can take a minibus anywhere in Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. Also, our buses can travel into the London congestion zone FREE of charge.
